Shuttle shifting is synchronized, using the clutch and at low engine RPMs. Tractor must be stopped to shift ranges. The transmission may be equipped with a dual-stage clutch. This can be identified if the PTO shift has 1000 RPMs on the left, and 540 RPMs on the right.
